On 17th October 2025, Amity University Patna and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)at IIT Patna for collaborative engagement under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Program (MMTTP), sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The MoU was signed by Prof. (Dr.) Vivekanand Pandey, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Amity University Patna, and Prof. T. N. Singh, Director, IIT Patna, in the gracious presence of the Program Director, MMTTC, IIT Patna, Dr. Navneet Kumar Yadav, Registrar, Amity University Patna and senior faculty and officials from both institutions.
The collaboration aims to enhance the quality of educators in accordance with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 through advanced faculty development programs. The MoU focuses on organizing specialized teacher training sessions designed to strengthen pedagogical competence, research aptitude, and innovative teaching practices among faculty members.
The agreement establishes a framework for conducting joint workshops, seminars, curriculum enrichment activities, and research collaborations between the two institutions. It reflects a shared vision of academic excellence and a collective commitment to nurturing a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
