On 26th November 2025, Amity Law School, Amity University Patna, observed Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) by organizing a special lecture featuring Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bhatnagar, Former Vice-Chancellor, RMLNLU, Lucknow and Former Dean, BBAU, Lucknow graced the session as the distinguished speaker.
The session was conducted in the presence of Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Head of Department, Amity Law School, distinguished faculty members, and students at Amity Law School. During the session, Dr. Bhatnagar elaborated on the concept of transformative constitutionalism, emphasizing that the Constitution serves not merely as a legal document but as a dynamic instrument intended to foster justice, equality, and progressive social change.
He further highlighted the responsibility of citizens—especially aspiring legal professionals—to uphold constitutional morality, strengthen democratic principles, and contribute to building an inclusive and equitable society. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks to the speaker, faculty members, organizers, and participants for ensuring its successful and meaningful execution.
