On 24th December 2025, Amity School of Communication, Amity University Patna, organized an outreach workshop titled “Digital Media, Law & Ethics: Navigating Responsibility in the Age of Social News” for girl students of Classes IX to XII, in collaboration with Eva Foundation, an NGO working for legal rights. Conducted under the banner of the Amicare Club, the workshop aimed to sensitize young learners to the legal responsibilities and ethical challenges of digital and social news platforms.
The sessions focused on contemporary media laws, ethical standards, misinformation, content regulation, and the balance between freedom of expression and legal accountability. Participants gained practical insights into responsible digital media practices, media literacy, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making.
The workshop was facilitated by ASCO faculty members Ms. Junny Kumari, Dr. Rahul Ahuja, Mr. Naveen Kumar, and Mr. Badshah Alam, with active support from departmental students. The initiative strengthened community engagement and reinforced the university’s commitment to socially relevant outreach and ethical capacity building among young learners.
