A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 26th March 2026 between Military Hospital (MH), Danapur Cantonment, Patna and the Amity Institute of Clinical Psychology (AICP–AUP), Amity University Patna, in the spirit of fostering academic collaboration and contributing to nation-building.
Under this collaboration, students enrolled in Clinical Psychology programs at AICP–AUP will be posted at Military Hospital, Danapur Cantonment, Patna under the supervision of a designated Assistant Professor to Military Hospital, Danapur Cantonment. The training will be coordinated by the Department of Psychiatry at Military Hospital and is intended strictly for academic and clinical training purposes, with no financial obligation on the part of the hospital.
As part of their clinical exposure, students may also be rotated across departments such as Pediatrics, Gynaecology, and General Medicine, based on training requirements. The hospital will facilitate hands-on learning by assigning suitable cases, enabling students to undertake case history documentation, conduct Mental Status Examinations, perform psychological assessments, and assist in counselling and psychotherapeutic interventions under supervision.
This collaboration aims to bridge academic learning with practical clinical experience, enhancing the professional competencies of students while contributing meaningfully to healthcare services.
