On 1st May 2026 to mark National Civil Services Day, Amity School of Civil Services organized an outreach activity on the theme “Women in Panchayati Raj: Leadership, Rights & Grassroots Governance” at Gargi Pathshala. The outreach programme was conducted for underprivileged students studying at Gargi Pathshala, an educational initiative started by IPS Vikas Vaibhav to support and empower students from marginalized sections of society through accessible learning opportunities.

The activity aimed to spread awareness regarding the role of women in local self-governance, leadership, constitutional rights, and grassroots democracy. Students were introduced to the importance of Panchayati Raj institutions and the contribution of women leaders in rural development and social transformation.

Faculty members and students of the Amity School of Civil Services actively interacted with the participants through discussions and awareness sessions, encouraging civic understanding and social responsibility.
